You might have taken the course and you are now trying to find a voice over work or interview so as to test your ability or to work. You cannot just get into a voice over industry and tell them how your best voice is and you have not recorded it. Same to a person who is looking for a client, they might demand that you give them a sample before calling you for the interviews and that is why you need to record your voice as a sample of what you do.
